In celebration of Ohio Soil Health Week, The Ohio State University’s Agroecosystem Management Program (AMP) will host a free screening of Roots So Deep (You Can See the Devil Down There) on November 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM at The Lyric in downtown Wooster, Ohio. The documentary explores how adaptive cattle grazing practices may restore soil health, improve farm profitability, enhance biodiversity, and mitigate climate change. The event will also highlight ongoing research by OSU AMP examining the environmental and economic impacts of different grazing systems. Open to farmers, researchers, students, conservation professionals, and the broader community, the screening aims to foster dialogue about sustainable grazing practices and celebrate the importance of healthy soils in Ohio agriculture. The venue will require theater seating, audiovisual equipment for the screening, and space for discussion and research outreach.
