The home built at 9413 Sophia Avenue in 1915 now only remains in the form of deconstructed wood and mycelium (reishi) amendment. Choreographed by Artist Malena Grigoli, with local compost cooked and delivered by Rustbelt Riders, this site is a proof of concept and demonstration of sci-fi meets art meets agriculture. Surrounded by native riverbank grapevines and catalpas, this site is soil health in art and agriculture, mixed with a little bit of advocacy and a slow-moving process to a community land trust.

Walking required, some tall grasses and insects, some thorny plants as well -- poison ivy was on site at one point. People would need to wear closed-toe shoes and pants or some sort of covering for their legs. No restroom on site, so the event can last no longer than 1 hour.
