Ray Archuleta, a Soil Health Specialist, retired from NRCS, will be the keynote speaker. Ray speaks internationally on the value of no-till with cover crops and the role in building soil health.
Results of the Ohio No-till Council work with: 1. Planting Green; 2. Intensive Soil Health Measurements; and 3. Financial advantage of continuous no-till.
Danielle Kusner will speak on nutrient dense crops and how that translates to healthier people.
Jim Moseley, former Deputy Secretary, USDA, will share insights on USDA programs from the 1990s (he created EQIP), working with Bill Richards at SCS, and current programs and insights into future for no-till and cover crops.
Lunch is included
Program will include a special recognition of Veterans. A National No-till Legend, David Brandt served in the Vietnam War, receiving 2 Purple Hearts for wounds in combat.
